Cross bikes have a light frame, narrow (1,75'') 28'' tires. They make for comfortable ride on paved roads, but you can go on poor quality roads too. With these bikes you can easily and fast cross long distences anywhere there is path except off road.

Mountain bikes are suitable for sporty people. These can go where another bikes can't. They are perfect for forest, sandy and stony tracks or off road. Strong but light frame, 26" tires, handlebars are straight and wide. These bikes is not suited for speed or long distance travels.
In Nida and Pervalka there are MTBO tracks. All across Curonian Spit you find suitable places to ride these bikes.

City bikes 7 speed gears with back - pedaling
+ panniers, lock.

These bikes are very comfortable bikes. They have slick tires, 28" wheels. They have back pedal brakes and hand brakes. Rider sits straight, handling is very easy   that's why its good for inexperienced or older age people. Ideal for riding on paved or hard surface. So if you planing calm and easy trip around Curonian Spit along  bike road, these bikes are perfect for it.

Tandem bikes
+ lock, helmets, panniers.

Tandem are bike on witch two people sit at the same time. It's good choice if one of the riders is inexperienced or haven't ever ride a bike before. They are suited to ride on paved roads. But they quite impractical in city because you can't turn, brake or stop often easily.
